So Cold and Empty

A poem I wrote in my free time

So Cold and Empty

I was so cold

And my life was so empty

I was afraid that I would freeze

Freeze until I was no longer in this world

That’s when I found some warmth

I had found a fire

And you know what

Your were that fire

And everyday you kept me warm

Kept me from freezing

Kept me from being so empty

And kept me from leaving this world

But I should have known

That it was too good to be true

And now I am back

In that cold empty life
