A poem I wrote in my free time.

Like a Machine

I am like a machine

I cannot show my emotions

Since that time you left me

I haven’t felt a thing

I am scared to find someone new

but nobody wants a machine

What if they hurt me

Just like you did

I spend my days alone

Slipping further and further into darkness

No matter what I try to crawl back up

I just keep falling deeper

My friends tried to help me

but there was nothing they could do

and they left one by one

until there was nobody left

I am like a machine

I cannot show my emotions

Since that time you left me

I haven’t felt a thing
