Magic is FadingA Poem by TheBubbleManiacWhere did the magic go?
Lights dance in town
Trees of colors shine brightly Children playing blindly But I do not see Snow falls from the sky Snow angles cover the ground Boxes wrapped with paper Bows of different colors top them Food lay waiting to eat The bells of the eight flyers But are they really? Who is that red man? People celebrate something that I have loved But I do not see The magic once there Fades slowly My mind is blank I awake with a yawn Nothing new this morning Then I am alarmed for what I see Toys that I have yearned for Lay in front of me What is this? How could I not see? For the season was close But my eyes too blind to see My heart swells But slowly fades For my eyes dull Hair damp and limbs numb My heart slowly stops The magic is gone
