Sky Dancers

Sometimes you can become one too. If you will it...

I look up at the dancers

They're dazzling like diamonds

Twinkling like a spark in your eyes

Songs of great beauty flood my ears

Calling to me, they dance

My heart and mind moving with them

Arms reaching to the one I will for the most

Heart pounding like a drum

Feet moving like a dancer now

The diamonds now dance around me

I am the one who dazzles now

A twinkle in my own eyes

For now there are no  more dancers

Only me who dances

Fluttering into the sky

To create a constellation

We move with grace

A path for us to follow

For there is nothing that holds us

Not trapped in bottles like fireflies

Free lights that dance for others in the sky

Replace old with new

Come when we are needed

Appear to create beauty

Dancing in the sky

We dazzle like diamonds

Many twinkles sparkling in our eyes

Songs that create such abstract painting

Your dreams are what make us

We are the ones who represent

we show you the way to becoming

You will follow us for comfort

Showing the way we shine

You will not be told anything wrong

For you make your own stars

You will create new dancers
