My AngelA Poem by TheBubbleManiacNotice the ones you don't...
She stands there
Her face red Her cheeks puffy Stained with tears Those tears were of not anger But of sadness She was standing there Facing the end The edge of the tower roof A peaceful overview Staring down at her buzzing town Eyes dulled with confusion A once beautiful face caked with darkness Arms swinging back and forth A nervous chill running up her spine The voice of the Heavens blowing through her hair The hand of the God, her God, reaching out to her Whispering to her, It's alright now She knows now that they could never hurt her Her heart throbbed with anxiety The wind whisked her off the edge She was brought up into the clear sky A ray of sun shining down upon her Her God reaching out his hand A flutter of snow white petals circled around her No darkness or stabbing pain surrounded her No more cuts or bruises No more suffering Wings as delicate as silk A dress that seemed to fall on her like snow Eyes as blue as the shimmering sea A heart that was soft as cotton My angel, Her pure God called to her No more can they hurt you She sat on the cloud, greeted by others like her She was now finally free of her wicked curse
