A Happening Romace

 

The waters cold, ice cold, but i hold you close to me for warmth

Our bodies naked, slowly going numb

Looking in each others eyes, a tiny doubt reflects back in to one anothers

We wanted this ...

I can see whats happening

We are'nt ready ... are we?

But I'd rather be here with you than any where else

I promise

Touch me, bring me closer to you

I'll deliver your pleasure and satisfaction

I'll settle as a fool before I dump my feelings for you

I promise

Let our love and lust fill this place

For miles and miles

And I'll give you all my trust and loyalty

I promise ... (in a whisper) I promise ...

The title describes this well just as the poem brings the imagery, story, and feeling well with that title itself. Nice write, I like this. Great ending.
