Tears of a Stranger

Tears of a Stranger

A Poem by Rubein Geterminah
"

Faith seems to lead us face whatever storms of life as per the call of duty imperatives. But the loving tears of those who are aware of what's ahead are worth noting.

"
He stood bold and defiant
With such conviction
To walk out self relaint
But a glance at her- a provocation
Said everything. Sniffing she
Was; with red swollen eyes
That made him astonished. So he
Quieted. “Why Rubein?” Her eyes
Said it all; that forbidden
Danger was head of him
That precaution was needed- to reawaken
From whatever unfain
Blindness. But he stood courageously
Assuring the stranger
That the call of duty’s jealously
Impregnated upon him; her fingers
Rested on her teary cheek
As he- unaware of the mysteries
Pending, turned to exit
Ill-informed that he could reach
Nowhere, as all could war and resist
Him for submission
And
Neglection
From Egypt’s hand.

*Lines written 2016 November aft being confined in a psychiatric hospital or asylum for my faith by my persecutors & tribulators.

*Egypt's hand- refers not to Egypt in Africa geographically; but spiritual Egypt as seen in the Apocalypse.

Author's Note

Rubein Geterminah
She wept because she knew what's ahead of me.
But my faith and devotions compelled me to walk out and totally surrounder.
Little did I know her tears meant lots as per the mysteries therein.

The precious tears of the stranger in this artwork is worth noting. For she was warning the speaker was taken a dicy decision based on religious belief to take precautions.
For he was unawares of the dangers ahead.
The lady here was my former supervisor.
