A Week of CoronaA Poem by Brian AguiarMaybe it will resonate.Monday the mobs in masks reminded me. Tuesday the television told me the death total. Wednesday I went for a walk, but the weather was wet and windy. Thursday things were okay, before the memories came. Friday for a moment, I forgot. I found peace - freedom from it all, before the fall. Saturday slipped away, Sunday’s sun came, but it still isn’t the same as it was because Monday the mobs in masks reminded me. © 2020 Brian AguiarReviews
