Emerald Eyes

Emerald Eyes

A Poem by DaveHRakkar

In the glow of moonlit skies,
I see the world in your emerald eyes.
A gaze so deep, it pulls me in,
With every smile, you make life worth living.

Your soul, my love, is as warm as it is kind,
The rarest of all, one so hard to find.
Through storms that rage and winds that cry,
Your soft voice, calms it all
With you next to me I’m soaring high

I see the true you, fierce and bright,
A true strength, the most beautiful of all.
A soul that shines brighter than any star
I’ll never falter or let you fall

And as life brings both joy
I'll stand beside you in the rain.
A shield, a rock, your fiercest friend,
Through every twist, until the end.

So take my hand, and let me show,
That come what may, you'll always know
I’m here, my love, forever true,
Your man, your guard, in all you do.
