DeciteA Poem by TheArchAngelCharmed and lured into my
inevitable demise. Teased; by her beautifully, abysmal eyes. Her devastation created by words. Drew me into her poison drenched swords Piercing; a fragile heart so slow. The worst pain that I could ever know. Bent over in agony, and dragged to the stake. Her love was so damn fake. My passion set me a blaze. Our fondest memories, now an impenetrable haze. Burning alive, to speak the truth I strive struggling to
survive; Long enough to clear my name. I am the reason of all blame. I have words I plea. She speaks, my words are heresy. I never spoke I only wrote. Of her violence. That I took in silence. A liar she proclaims Here I sit burning in unjust flames. I kept everything I wrote. Still readable, when blood soaked; I swear. But who will really care? I’m a poet in the world of the blind, deaf and mute. Why do I dispute? I burn at the stake, filled with hate. She helped me seal my own fate. © 2012 TheArchAngelAuthor's Note
