Forgiven

just a little poem

Screams of agonizing pain; deafening to humanity.

Rationality seeping through their fabrics, thread by thread.

 A masochistic society, begging for forgiveness.

They plea with a sharp tongues; without remorse.

Expecting prosperous happiness.

Sadistic creatures influence humanity.

Taboos are the norm, in this vicious cycle.

Humanity begs to be forgiven

Their forgiveness is the pain they seek to relinquish.

~ well... it's a lot more than "just a little poem"... it's extremely powerful and thought-provoking... i don't know if you meant to write about what i refer to as "the international conglomerate of cynics" who constantly abuse everything and everyone... but that's how i am interpreting this piece... they want forgiveness to remain in a state of rage... they're fascists in the guise of critics and seek our indulgence and forgiveness to get relief from the pain they inflict on themselves...
