Moon...

Moon...

A Poem by TheArchAngel

Random poem inspired by the courtesy of the moon.

"

Howling moon; where is your heart?

Covered in a blanket of black velvet and sterling stars;

Why are you so cold?

You influence the tides of lives which corrode at the bottom of life.

And yet you shove and you pull, but you never once let go.

What treasures do you find in the polluted eyes of humanity?

Reasons that will never be told, and yet;

The world waits.

It starves for answers that are not deserved, it moans like dying children;

Plagued with pleas, and deprived worldly desires.

Must you leave and give way to new day?

Waiting for answers the world still seeks.

Another night. Another day.

Humanity fades, the world gives way.

Your secrets are at heart.

Howling moon; where is your heart?
