As I dwell On The PastA Poem by TheArchAngelAs I Dwelling on Past. As I dwell on the past on this autumn
night. I remember
those moment that were just right. The moments
that made me smile. The times
that wouldn't last for a little while. But the colors fade into grays. And the
moments that hurt linger and stay. I recall
them without a choice. Every tear,
every choice and every screaming voice. That reminds
me of what I went through to be here today. All the
things I wish I could say; Just to make
them all go away. They eat at me day and night. Like a
plague feasting , without even a fight. I close my
eyes and tears streak my face. So much
suffering to find my place. So much that weighs on my mind I seek for
something I wish I could find. So I close
my eyes; And look
past all the lies All my cries
and pleas. And realize
that.. As I Dwell
On the Past I realize I
hold in arms my Sanctuary at last. © 2012 TheArchAngelReviews
