The Last Hug

An old Love/Romance Poem

I remember your last hug like it was yesterday

I truly hope to hold my arms around you yet again

of all the wishes I'll have, I wish this, and I'll pray 

I pray that it will end the way it began


A heart filled with sorrow

it's to much for me to borrow

a teardrop falls to the ground

and my feeling is like a dying sound


I'll always love you forever and more

you are the whole world for me

this is why I was born

I hope this will forever be


is it an illusion, a dream or an old memory that's haunting me

or maybe I'm way to blind to see

that my love for you is more than just a feeling

if I'm wrong, my heart need a thousand years of healing


Sleepless nights over and over

Nightmares that haunting me

I'm falling lower and lower

a place of tears and sorrow I'll be


All the darkness around me

I need to get through 

I never wanted this to be

but I can't do it without you


My heart is like a drumbeat,

Your face, eyes and smile

worming my heartbeat


I'm trying not to love you to much

one moment, one hug, one touch

it's all it takes to make me love you more

I almost falling on the floor


I love you so much it literally hurts

I've meant every single word, I've hope you trust.. me.
