Hope

 

 

To walk with he you do not trust is

A walk of agony, A walk of despair

You give what you must and never a penny more

Too scared to be used and left behind

Stuck in tow minds

To believe what you heart says

"They deceive "Concludes your mind

Then back at one with the same old fears, identical screams

Then you tell yourself, I know the kind so why even hope?

"Cos people change, if you patiently wait they change for the better

Coz people grow, become older and maturer then ever before

Therefore, you hope

Hope has now found one who doesn't agree

Who fights hope off and comes down with symptoms similar to colds, flews and fever

Hope you abandoned me, gave up on me so easily and walked away so fast

Now you wanna come with promises that this time hope will last

Tell me how can I trust you though I love and lust you

I use to cuss you, took all I had to forget you

The other day when I kissed you, I realized I really missed you

I miss the days when my body would shiver and the earth beneath me would start shaking

I miss the days when when my lips would quiver, with the sight of you my breath was taken

My souls been wakened and once again love is alive

Will it die like then or will love survive

 

Hope I ask only this, stick around till you make me believe

When you can no longer, only then may you leave

I like this! The meaning came through loud and clear! there are times in our lives that we indeed must decide wether to trust hope or not. But in the end, like this poem indicates. If you don't try.... then you may never know.
