Lied And Settled

 

Life turned cynical

Spirit drenched all over the seas

Joy lost in the dessert

Hope turns into a mirage only my eyes behold

Were is love to be found when the cold comes from withing?

Is life to be wasted wondering?

Is love a lie you accept?

I proudly say negotiating is is not an option

For if I do I can no longer speak nor smile

I can not live nor laugh

But if you do compromise as so many seem to do

You should not lie and claim happiness

But be brave and admit defeat

Admit how you deceived your heart and settled with a lie

Love as you knew it was only desire and longing

How can love keep you acting the role of one who is not touched by it glory?

How can love sleep next to you so many nights

Unaware of the fire in your heart, the fears in your head, the tears in your eyes?

Unaware of who you truly are?

But love is joy wrapped in joy u say

The good comes with the bad you say

It's just a bad day you say

Before you know it

a day is a week

a week a month

a month a year

One yr, twenty

And you ask - when did it all go wrong?

Wow its really really really good... uh sorry i oddly enough have a lack of words right now... so uh yeah i really liked it.
