Our bodies come and go
One to fit each of life's occasions
A body's fingerprint
Only Heaven's tattoo
Created only for you
Each different, each time
Every place, one with every face
Our bodies used
Some abused and worn
Plotting a mission they must take
One print, one life
Beginning in an infant
Ending in an instant
Fingerprints on a body

Are only scars
Left in the distance
By the one we really are
The fingerprint of this one who we are
Is not born with
As is a body
It's born of
One soul's lone journey
The trials, the lives
The paths undertaken
Leave maps in faces
Encompassing the depths
Of our creation
The beginning forgoing an ending
Placed somewhere on destiny's stage
In the space of a time
Eternally intertwined
The fingerprint of a soul
Is complete...
Only if forever
Fades someway

This piece is quite something. I love the way that it flows and ties together.

There is so much truth in the lines-I'm kind of at a loss for words, but this is a fabulous piece. I truly enjoyed it.
