An Interesting Mind

An Interesting Mind

A Poem by Velvet Pen
"

sometimes its good...to set the mind free!

"

"An Interesting Mind"

Even while by myself
I must be entertained
Therefore...
The entertained
Becomes the entertainer
Two roles in opposition
Yet...
One actress is cast twice
Stand up, step a side
My mind is in improv
Each performance an original
Each thought...
Brakes its mold

And in writing, you end up entertaining yourself, don't you? I can relate to that, as I sometimes write just to do something and keep myself occupied.

Tiny nitpick: "it's" in this case shouldn't have an apostrophe. And I'm also wondering whether "broke" should be "breaks" to keep it present-tense. Just a thought.

Nice short, sweet write =)

Ah, my mind is similar in this way. Though annoyingly it tends to try to entertain me with drama when I'd prefer comedy. Silly brain! But I relate and I think you succeeded, quite succinctly, in your expression of the concept here.

Beautiful!

Even while by myself
I must be entertained
Therefore...
The entertained
Becomes the entertainer

This is my favorite part! I know what you mean, I dislike boredom. I have to keep my mind active and entertained. I enjoyed reading this :-)
