Taking the words a language gave me
And with my mind
Command they begin dancing
As I choreograph their motion
Auditioning the vocabulary known
Casting only few
Performing only once
beauty only hearing
Inscribing my sole's impression
Lasting only...
Forever
There's a peaceful brevity to this piece which I think encapsulates the art of writing to a lot of people. Cast only once like dice at a casino, only heard once at its crescendo, yet lasting forever it seems... or so you say. I can agree with that =)
On a nitpicky note, I think "improvisatorially" is a bit of a mouthful; chopping this out would tighten this piece considerably, but hey, that's just my opinion, nothing more.
This is beautiful. I like the peaceful flow of the words. This piece brought a smile to my face, I really enjoyed reading it. My most favorite lines have to be the first three-brilliant! Great write Katy!
