Never To Let Go

I wrote this a long time ago, just found it and wanted to add it on here

Amongst the sadness

And pain shown in tears

The small moments of happiness

Are my heart's focus of my years

Pain and sorrow

Seemed so strong

But you found me there,

And proved assumptions wrong

Through confusion

Of hope found anew,

Loved for the first time

Craving time with you

Burdened with uncertainty

On accusations made

Sorrow overcomes again

Light begins to fade

From hours to days

In darkness I mourn

Lost and alone

Seemingly forlorn 

But again you find me

Back to light we go

Wrapping your arms around 

Never to let go

Though pain still comes

And sorrows still show

To each other we still hold

Never to let go

[Tainted Devotion]

Despite the fact that this is a truly sad poem, I loved it very much. The rhyming was very good, and it didn't seem too forced. It flowed quite well. This poem made me think of all the stuff in our past. It was scary to think about to be honest. None the less though, this was is very good. Keep on writing Steven.
