Now we begin

One strand at a time

Spinning the webs

That trap my mind

 

What is it that binds

Our friendships and love

How can we fix the puzzle

That we don't have all the pieces of

 

What of our anger

What can validate

The reason of our offense

And the source of our hate

 

What strings that get broken,

Can be reattached

How can we allow the power of love,

To be outmatched

 

To what ends

Should we go

How ar do we chase

Those who say "no"

 

How do we know

What is the right time

How do we pull through

The loss of each dime

 

When we leave our home

To accomplish what we must

How do we stay true

With who do we place our trust

 

How do we know

What to do

When each choice

Brings something entirely new

 

How do we pick

Which direction to take

When we're afraid what seems apparent

Could be a fake

 

How do we step

Out of the past

To find a future

That will prosper and last

 

Is anything inevitable

Except our body's death

How can we truly value

Our every breath

 

How far should we plunge

How deep should we dive

To what lenghts should we go

How hard should we strive

 

How much should we give

To help another

How can we show we care

For our sisters and our brother

 

How can we find

What we are destined to be

Can anything answer all of this

And make life easy

 

But there are many more questions

Which only add to the complication

Can anything in this universe

Counter this sensation

 

I pray something ends this confusion

And the pain brought by sadness
