Prayer For Courage

Here we are again

What are we to do

Now the time has come

To stand and fight for you

 

But here comes a familiar fear

Keeping me held back

Won’t let me fight for you

Keeping me off track

 

Please Lord can you help me

Strengthen and teach me

Empower and encourage me

And help me carry on

 

My only wish

To live for you

But even that requires your help

Show me what to do
