I'm sure we've all felt such a love.

It’s not that she’s perfect

We all have flaws

But the heart has never

Followed logic’s laws

 

Everything about her

Brightens up my day

Even through bad times

I always wanted to stay

 

Always on my mind

She is forever embedded

Carved into my soul

I forever feel indebted

 

Love seems too simple a word

To express the depths of emotion

She will forever hold my heart

Swallowed up by her ocean

 

No one else

Will ever be able to see

Through my eyes, the glory

Of what she means to me

 

As she was long ago

I’m tired of wasting time

If only I could fix things

With this simple rhyme
