Heartbreak is a great inspiration to get words flowing, for me anyway.

They say the more you squeeze

The more it slips away

And you cannot hold on to

What doesn’t want to stay

 

That’s all well and good

Except, that it’s not

I just can’t let go

Wanting one more shot

 

To take a step forward

You have to want to move

But I got comfortable

When we fell into our groove
