sanityA Poem by The Raven Kingi stand here in the silver rain with silver book and troubled brain the harlot moon teases me through the clouds the droplets sound like screaming silk beat down on me like petals heavy with sin My heart stopped beating long ago no snow falls just the wind blowing the flakes around like ashes on the flame i hold the ravens beak closed it tears at my flesh and is blinded with my crimson tears it speaks in riddles i have no patience for the trickster i am no longer i i am time feeding on time i am life feeding on life i am death feeding on death The silver rain falls like silken cries and the sun is now a house of lies my thoughts lay in a sunken crypt my soul where the devil's quill is dipped © 2009 The Raven KingReviews
