Poem To a Murderer

To trust is to love
But to love is not to trust?
For you it's different
you see that my trust for you is gone
do you remember that you were my only one
and how you ruined it with a smoking gun
I try to walk away
but then i turn and see your face
i see my ice queen
who killed me when she shot me in the spleen
and i stare at you with eyes full of pain
my hand on my chest cuz i feel like I've been maimed
I scream and realize I'm in love
too bad it's with a girl i don't trust
trusting you again would be like torture
masochism isn't allowed in my culture
live and forget is what my friends tell me
but they aren't the victim of your latest scheme
so now my love, I'm done
I'm moving on and leaving you with your gun
that is the gun you call your heart
made of ice and no its not art
its a cold world we live in today
and when you get yours I'll be glad you payed
the price of hurting those who were just trying to be
part of your world if only you could see
the pain you cause has to be avenged
and never again will you harm the souls of men
