Memories of the DeadA Poem by AlmostSometimes is feels like memories do more damage than the actual event.
an accidental love
no choice or intent sparked by a stare that initially nothing meant but as time passed by her radium eyes i could not forget the cause of dead memories and words I would regret blinded by your tears and encumbered by your concrete heart you kept our beautiful lie painfully far apart I tried to fight back but love is not a battle to be fought rather words to be spoken and scaring lessons to be taught to forget such perfection as her I would have to die be reborn, forget all that I knew and live my new lie now only one dread left that keeps my fears fed the promise that I'll remember the memories of the dead © 2012 AlmostAuthor's Note
