A Poem by Creepy Swine Guy
"

Who knew !!

"
Tonka Toys, Bikes, Fishing Poles,
Making teams, Popularity, Dates.
Beautiful Girls, Good Schools,
Beautiful Women, Jobs, Cars ...

A life spent chasing and pursuing,
Only to find that happiness was
waiting for me to find it ...

Right on my front porch.

It's human nature to be selfish, and to want, want, WANT! Some of us never find the true meaning behind happiness, while us poor folks find it on the front porch, in the back yard around a campfire, or at the kitchen table sharing food and drink with family and friends.....

I love the conclusion to this because it's completely true. Sometimes happiness is literally right under our noses but we, wanting to aspire to higher things like we are sometimes expected to, fail to see this.

A very well written poem overall :) The first stanza is like an endless list which shows that the search for happiness is sometimes relentless. We're sometimes never happy with what we've got so we seek for more.

Thank you for sharing :)

money and suchlikes is nothing if you don't have your health, health is wealth...so if you feel kinda healthy on your front porch..so be it....enjoy....reason for everything I say...anyway..nothing worse than a bragger....boringgggggggggg !!
thanks for share
