A Little More

A Little More

A Poem by Creepy Swine Guy

My heart is broken, my spirit cries.
I only lived to see your eyes.

But now you've left, you've gone away.
I die a little more each day.

This is concise and heartbreaking...perfectly to the point and complete. It begs to be read over and over again...so I did.

Thank you Ma'am ... Some poems ... you sort of wish you'd never been inspired to write.

Short and to the point. It says all that needs to be said. Well done.

A good short poem. They are hard to do, especially with emotions conveyed. Great poem!

There is nothing more be said. Your grasp of directness in this poem is beautiful. Simply stunning, why say in a 1,000 words that which you can say in 28. I hope you have some lightness in your dawn. Mx

So simple yet so sad.

Though quick question on the last line. Is it suppose to be "I die a little more each day" or did you mean today?

I think everyone can relate to this poem if they have been in love.

Jerry, I have been away for a bit so, I don't know about the contest or what this subscribing 'stuff' is all about, but this poem was very good.

You may submit it without hesitation, it is concise, complete and well done!

Moonlight.

It took me awhile to understand the last line.
It's worded in a very different way but now that I get it I like it alot.

Very well stated and complete for such a short piece of writing.
Good job.

This is a heartwrenching tale of love lost. You show the pain inside you and the yearning left
in it's wake. Beautifully done.
