Darkness

Darkness

A Poem by Creepy Swine Guy
"

Just a tiny poem that came to mind.

"

Fortunately, our eyes

Adjust to the darkness.
Sadly, so too do our souls.

This deserves better than Comic Sans. I saw the font, the three lines, and didn't expect much, I will admit. You surprised me though--rather pleasantly, I might add.

Though your display picture will likely haunt me in my sleep, I wanted to say that you managed to touch a nerve here, and with as few words as you used, that's a pretty remarkable thing. Well done.

ahhh...where does conformity stop and identity begin? The quest for individuality leads seekers to a happy place where ~shock~ everyone is the same. Sadly, bright light causes a temporary painful experience, but after adjustment the colors are so much more brilliant.

Very short proverb here....and I like it.

So very true.. but some souls seem stronger than others.. Maybe they've had more practice.

I like it. your last line feels awkward when read aloud.
maybe remove "too" as "so" implies "also"??
otherwise, a powerful little piece with a big message

Tis clear that even our souls are like clay and suffer against the forces that ebb and flow around our lives. Well penned.

This is so sad and so true. This is a tiny little blockbuster. It packs a powerful punch.
