Yes ... you are!

Yes ... you are!

A Poem by Creepy Swine Guy

Six million Jews.

Yes … you are!

The bloody earth of Rwanda,

Yes … you are!

I am no Milosevic,

Yes … you are!

More than 1.02 billion hungry,

Yes … you are!

47 million Americans without health care,

Yes … you are!

131,000 homeless veterans,

Yes … you are!

Am I my brother’s keeper?

Am I Mt Brothers Keeper?

My thoughts are yes, we are ... and sisters too~

I love this poem .. too many woes to name them all , the ones you write of are
so important... the hungry ones stay on my mind a lot..

I like this , Yes, I do~

I was wondering where you were going with the "Yes ... you are!" and love poems that keep my interest until revealing their intent at the end.

I think the right answer is, "It depends who ya ask." Powerful stuff Blue Guy. Anytime we can make others think is great thing!

An interesting and poignant piece for sure. I had to read this over three or four times until I was confident that I truly got the full impact of things...in the end, I think this was nicely done. The last line really sums it all up for me.
