A Poem by Creepy Swine Guy

Who ever remembers all of the roads,
The turns, the junctions, the smiles of
Strangers we passed along the way?

Who ever thought we’d need to stop,
And commit those joyful moments to memory?
If they didn’t stick, there was no worry.

There would always be more joy,
More smiles, more brilliant sunsets
And more moments to seize our breath.

There would always be more.

This was a really tranquil way to look at life.. astounding! Each turn and juncture a smile of strangers.. the only one that truly stick as memories are the ones we find in life that stand out or are profound. So many WILL be forgotten... but postivity rings through this for what you will remember out of a vast sea with everyday full of more sunsets.. smiles and special moments. I really enjoyed this!

This is happy and sad at the same time. Every turn brings about new joy, but this poem sounds so finite....as though there's regret at not noticing those moments now that it's too late. Hmmm......
I do like this piece. The words are perfect and the tercets are wrapped up so well with that last line.

I can relate to this because I travel all the time. And it reminds me to appreciate the view, the fresh air and friendly faces. May be I needed the reminder.

I enjoyed this peaceful little beauty. :)

A very positive spin on life! No worries that we don't remember each face, each smile.....where we forget one, another will take its place. a nicely written reflection!

I love this! Does anyone think twice about the toothless smile beaming at you from the homeless man on the street corner....or the little girl at the zoo? I remember many...but have forgotten even more.
