--- Pedestrian ---

--- Pedestrian ---

A Poem by Creepy Swine Guy

A dull, throbbing ache
unsettles my spirit much
like an angry stomach
gnaws at the physical.

A ‘white noise’ hisses in the
background of my conscious
thought, a subtle obstruction,
impeding rational thought.

These are symptoms, not
of some evil or infectious
presence, but of an absence.

You are the hole at the center
of my now pedestrian life.

Well done CSG. That last line is absolutely brilliant. It seems some just walk through our lives and in turn they step right through us, leaving us with as you so aptly put it, a pedestrian life. We feel the holes that can't be filled as white noise sweeps through instead. The picture is fabulous as well, a knife in hand and things are not as neat as they appear... they both are surrounded by ribbons. Bravo my friend.
