In Your Orbit

In Your Orbit

A Poem by Creepy Swine Guy
"

Tinkering with words.

"

We forget that stars are but
distant suns, much like our own,
radiating light and lifegiving
warmth to all in their orbits.

Likewise, you are the sun that
brings light to my universe.
I breathe, I live, because
of your golden radiance.

The distant corners of my

elliptical orbit are too far
from you, my existential center.

Those corners are the winter

of my existence. I am in the

grasp of your gravity,
slipping closer with every orbit.
In time, I will tumble too close,

and I will burst into vapor.
