Sap

Sap

A Poem by Creepy Swine Guy
"

Pretty self-explanatory.

"

What's her problem?
Does she not see how
very sweet you are?
Expelled, you cling to her,
refusing to let go.
Gravity pulls at you
but you are dense,
and will not be
easily torn from her.
But in the end,
you lie at ground,
at her feet, a sticky,
sheen of residue the
only remnant of you.

Fabulous metaphor and the picture only added to the angst of your words. There are times that no matter how much we want something it is not to be and we are left with the residue of emotional puddles.

:) This is clever. An apt and fitting metaphor in double entendre. Poor faithful sap! I really like this!

I like the analogy you use in this piece of such an all to familiar circumstance. Great imagery too. Nice work :)
