The Good Tears

The Good Tears

A Poem by Creepy Swine Guy

They speak of this thing

called "A Good Cry".
They call it, a cleansing,
the lifting of a great weight.
So, I seek these purifying
tears, these good tears that
feed a river of redemption
which washes away walls of
hurt. But in my waning years

I
have perhaps, found a truth.
Perhaps, just perhaps, the best
tears are those that remain unshed
.

"So I seek these purifying
tears, these good tears that
feed the river of redemption
which washes away the walls
of hurt." Beautiful words!
I liked the other ending too, but I imagine you meaning here that they are the tears that weren't necessary. I don't now. This is lovely and the picture is really good with it.

The picture on your poem In Ruins was the muse.

The best one's are the ones the other guy sheds! Tears are supposed to be cathartic, I find all they do is give me a headache, swollen eyes and then I have to wear dark glasses!

Nice work.
