My Love For You

Yet another ... sappy love poem.

Love's been compared
to a beautiful bird.
Love's like a flower in
bloom I have heard.

Is it the warmth in a
summer Night's breeze?
Is it the green in
the leaves on the trees?

My love for you is
like none of these things,
Not a plant, nor a breeze,
Nor a bird with bright wings.

You see, it's like nothing
that walks or that flies.
The birds and the plants,
Even the wind ... will all die.
