Skipping Stones

Skipping Stones

A Poem by Creepy Swine Guy

Some of us skip across the
surface of life like spinning
stones flung from rocky shores,

never diving beneath the
surface to plumb the depths
where adventure, joy and
passion are found.

I like this very much. Love the title and concept. A bit haunting...we all, most of the time, are just skipping along I think.

To be flung from rocky shores and spin can be a joyous adventure in itself.

I like the thought of this poem, Guy, and thankyou so much for sharing. Personally though, I don't necessarily buy the premise. (I know you won't mind me saying so)

That is so true. Nicely done. I love the picture that goes with it, too.
