Try Me Again

Try Me Again

A Poem by The Lone Lady
"

not sure if i'm feeling it but i'll post it anyway

"

I was not there when you laid your desperate hand on my heart strings.

Not there when you tried to touch my soul to see my inner workings.

I hid myself from the fear of pain, vacant so you wouldn't hurt me.

My eyes cry out for what could have been, praying for love desperately.

That the opportunity might return soon and I might be there wholly.

no pieces or fragments to damage your dream.

Just truth and trust to console me.

Very art like with a tad of sadness
It almost sounds like there was some regret
but that;s just me

Either way it was a nice piece

Great work!
