Broken twice

Is it possible for a heart to broken twice?

Even when it wasn’t fixed from the first time

You build everything up and my heart leaps

Then you step out of the way and it falls like meteorite

Burning to smithereens as it hurtles back to earth            

 

Just when I think that I’ll be okay

It happens again

I can’t get away from your gravity

It drags me in piece by piece

Until nothing is left to be mine

 

You make it so you’re everything I want

Invading my very soul

And then ripping me from you

Cast aside and left alone

With nothing to hold on to

 

I’ll be okay, I’ll be alright , well not that you’d care

Someones makes you so upset and you think that this is as miserable as it gets, but then they go and do it again or they do something worse, and you haven't even stopped being upset about the last thing they did to you. Its' cruel.
