New Year

New Year

A Poem by The Lark

How strange the seeming auspices
With which this ending date is cast,
For all new days mark a new year
From that day same a year past.

Far be it from me to deny
The magic of the night we speak,
But know there are yet more new year’s
Today, tomorrow and next week.

Honestly, i can say i really adored this. it was confusing in a way and took a few times to go through, but the feel is very soft, like a whisper on the wind. i liked it a lot!
