A small cinquain

A small cinquain

A Poem by The Lark
"

This cinquain came about from playing the cinquain game - where I follow the previous poster's cinquain and start my first line based on their last line, which happened to be "The Fun".

"

The Fun
A drunkard sees
Is oft' found upside down,
His head upon the ground, beneath
Your knees.

:) I like this, simple, short, but lovely, and meaningful.

It's old-school cinquain, and it works in rhyme without it seeming forced or unnatural--which is no mean feat. Very nicely done.
