A Poem That Flows

A Poem That Flows

A Poem by The Lark
"

Because I PREFER rhyming poetry! :P

"

A poem that flows

Has an author that knows

The poem will keep

On going,

In the beating hearts

Of the reader that starts

And shows no sign

Of slowing.

And what does it matter

You're mad as a Hatter,

Your content, odder

Than dreams?

If the sum of your verse

Is obscure and perverse

And don't get me started

On themes!

For as long as the beat

Has them tapping their feet,

The effect pervades through

The laughter.

When they lay down to bed

It will play in their head,

And probably still,

Long after.

About
