Greatest Lie

Greatest Lie

A Poem by Don

Door half way closed
Where is he going i wish i knew
I let the drama get me
Couldn't swallow my pride
I let the best thing walk out of my life
All he wanted to know was
Did i love him?
I couldn't answer
I was so caught up
To many fights cost me a life time
I said i'd be just fine without you in my life
I couldn't believe i told the greatest lie
Words can't describe just what you mean to me
You know i need you tonight
I told the greatest lie
I said i don't love you
Instead of trying to go back to that moment
To tell you how i really feel
I just died inside
Right now there is no certainty
Should've took that opportunity and
Just say how i really felt
I just said i'd be just fine without you in my.life
I told the greatest lie

Sad painful words. Life is a learning experience.

Totally c: thanks for the review
Coma after every line except the ones with exclamation points or questions marks, capital "I's" in some of the sentences
"I said i don't love you"
Suggestion: use didn't instead of don't
No period after my
Period at the end of the entire poem
Other then that this is good :)
