I'm Not Willing to Forget

I'm Not Willing to Forget

A Poem by YoungWriter

It never runs through my faded and broken mind..
why you say one thing and then mean another?
then again I suppose, between us, there's no document signed...
and say there was, you'd find a way to recover.

you were supposed to be my Romeo..
and I your Juliet..
you said you loved me then forgot,
but I'm not willing to forget..

I've told you countless times how I feel...
you say you feel the same,
it's not supposed to be a big deal,
but I want you here... to remain.

you don't understand..
you don't even know..
how everyday goes by,
my feelings for you grow...

you don't know about this poem..
nor about the others..
but they're all about you,
and I hope one day that you discover.

this story,
us to be exact...
is supposed to have glory..
and keep us in tact...

all these poems about love...
they are all about you..
as I say above..
I just want you to say "I love you too"

I asked "How do you do?"
because I want to know..
I want you to look at me and also your feelings grow...

no, I've never met you.. but I can feel my heart beat..
I wish that one day I could see you.. I want to finally meet..

you say distance is a hard thing..
yes I seem to have noticed..
but I'm still willing to try,
even if it's hard to stay focused...

you are my Romeo..
and I your Juliet..
you said you loved me then forgot,
but I'm not willing to forget...
