The Crash

The Crash

A Poem by YoungWriter

they say you will one day grow old
you grew up to see everything unfold

you went to funerals
for your mother
for you father
it was unfortunate as for you were their daughter

you watched them crumble and fall
you watched them stumble and call

they called for you but you never would come
now it's too late to undo what you have now done

they begged you to stay and pleaded you to not leave
you dishonored them and left them with deceive

running now as you think
your world before you begins to shrink

with them there was supposed to be a forever
they weren't supposed to leave you
especially not together

the crash was a for sure sight to see
but in the end it was a matter of life a death
you fell to the ground and couldn't help but bleed
the crash was a for sure threat

you begged on your knees for them to survive
you begged on your knees for them to revive

but they couldn't do a thing
not after they heard the Angels sing

the Angels took them far far away
you may or may not see them for a day

it could be days, weeks, and years
but the only thing on your mind is how it's your fault
you beg for forgiveness and shed nothing but tears
after the crash everything was put to halt

now they are gone and it's all because of you
now they are gone and now your life is through

you try and try to make it all better
so that once and for all you will be all together
