The Dancer

The Dancer

A Poem by ThatPeculiarGirl :3

Coming from a broken home
Watching her life fall apart
She was always so alone
A constant pain in her heart
She wondered the streets
Never looking for trouble
But she always got the heat
Life was never subtle
With all her rage she began to dance
Fighting through her blood and sweat
It was just by chance
That they met
He sat in awe
Amazed at her passion and talent
And her beauty so raw
But to him, this was no accident
Together they ran away
He introduced her to a new life
Starring in the ballet
And making her his wife
All those years they prayed
Finally there came an answer
He watched her ignite the stage
His love, the dancer
