Sun and Moon

Sun and Moon

A Poem by ThatPeculiarGirl :3

I am the sun,
I shine so bright.
I am the moon,
I glow at night.
I give shine to brighten the day
 in every which way.
I may be dark and cold,
but I glow over creatures to behold
I make birds sing,
and give people a cheerful ring.
I make wolves howl,
and catch criminals on the prowl.
You are dark, and I am light
no one wants to be in your sight
I am dark, but I calm the mind
whereas you make them go blind
You freeze people head to feet!
You blind people with you heat!
You are filled with evil and mystery,
I am as cheerful as can be
You are filled with fire,
man can walk on me
Without me, the earth would die...
If I were gone death would come too.
I guess this is true,
both are important me and you
I am the sun
And I am the moon
I lead the day
I lead the night
But never again shall we fight.

It's the first time I read a poem like this, and it's an incredible read. I'm honestly quite speechless! The way you write like two seperate entities and conjoin them at the end, the way you make them bicker at each other for being total opposites, and the words you chose! I absolutely love it! :D
