The Escape

Two robots have to flee their laboratory home into space and their adventures begin.

Rob and Boat were robots created by a inventor who had done terrible things, they lived in the lab and had never seen the outside. One day their inventor was being taken custody and all of his inventions were being taken, however they did not know this. So they were just sitting down in a room.

 

Boat was lying down and said, “Uh! It’s so boring in here.” He sat up and saw Rob climbing a shelf. “What are you doing?” Boat asked, “Trying to find something interesting.” He replied, “Well you’re lucky, you have something interesting.” Boat said, Rob fell down and asked, “What are you talking about?” “Well you have your stretchy arms.” Boat said. “Don’t worry man, I’m sure you’ll find you own thing.” Rob replied. “Thanks, what did you get?” Boat asked, “Just some beans.” Rob said. Suddenly there was an alarm and 8-bot and fellow robot came in and said, “The lab’s under attack! We need to evacuate!” They followed 8-Bot and ran out and down the hallway, “Who’s attacking the lab?” Rob asked, “I’ll explain once we get out of here!” 8-Bot said, they arrived at a doorway to a space ship and 8-Bot started pushing buttons on the control pad to open the door. “We’re going to have to leave the planet!” 8-Bot yelled. They then heard yelling and people coming down the hallway after them. “Hurry people are coming!” Boat yelled. Then 8-Bot opened the door and said, “Get in!” Rob and Boat got into the ship when suddenly a soldier came around the corner and shot 8-Bot and he fell to the ground. “Dude! Grab 8-Bot’s dead a*s!” Boat said, “Fine!” Rob said and he stretched out his arm and brought 8-Bot’s body into the ship. Boat then shut the door to the ship and the soldiers started banging on the door. “How do I fly this thing?” Rob asked while panicking, “Press the fly button.” Boat replied, “Oh” Rob then pressed the button and the ship started to take off.

 

Meanwhile in a military control room a commander saw that there was a ship taking off from the laboratory and got his soldiers to fire a laser at the ship. The ship was now leaving the ozone layer and the robots were panicking “What do we do! Where do we go? I hope the inventor is ok!” Rob yelled, “Dude, we haven’t even met the inventor.” Boat said. The ship then said, “Greetings robots, commonly known as: Rob, Boat and 8-Bot, I am the ship.” “Why can it speak?” Boat asked, “I was programmed to have a personality.” The ship said, “Well that’s good, because we have no idea what to do. The lab was under attack and 8-Bot got us to leave now he needs to be fixed and we have no idea where to go! So can you help us?” Rob said, “Let me see… We will have to go to Rotrion a planet in a different solar system, to get there you will have to press the hyper drive button.” The ship said, “Ok.” Rob said, he pressed the button but as the ship was going into hyper drive the laser shot the ship. “What was that!” Boat yelled as the ship was shaking furiously, “I have taken on a substantial amount of damage and we’ll have to leave hyper space early.” The ship said, “But what about getting to Rotrion?” Rob asked, “We will be postponed then.” The ship said and they left hyperspace and came into an unknown solar system. “I’m sorry, but we have to make an emergency stop at this nearby planet.” The ship said, “Why?” Boat asked, “Because we’re going to crash into it.” The ship said as they were all rushing towards this new mysterious planet.

 

Back on Earth in the military base the commander walked into the control room and said, “What happened to the ship that escaped the lab?” “It has disappeared from our radars sir.” A soldier said fearfully. The commander picked up the soldier by the shirt and yelled very closely to his face, “Then find them!!!” He then through the soldier down to the ground and another soldier came up to the commander and said, “But on the positive side sir, we successfully captured the inventor so we can now proceed with our plans.” The commander grinned and said, “Good…”
