Dear Santa,

My Christmas Letter

I know I may have outgrown the whole "Letters To Santa" thing, but I have a request that would take a miracle to fufill. Who better to ask for one from? See, I've done something I thought I'd never do again...something I swore I wouldn't do again. I fell in love, and I've fallen hard. He's sweet, he cares about me, he makes me smile when I want to cry, he makes me laugh, he's very handsome, and he's the most brilliant man I've ever met. But there is one small problem. We are 1,400 miles away from each other. And yes, we make it work through some grace of some gracious god, but this holiday season seems so bleak without him. Everywhere I look there are couples bundled together in the cold and stealing kisses under plastic mistletoe. Santa, I want nothing more than to have his arms around me this Christmas. I want to fall asleep after eating too much and drinking too much eggnog in his caress. I want to feel him jolt me awake so we can see what you left under the tree. I want him here, I want my love for Christmas. I don't want a new laptop (though that would be kinda helpful). I don't need another pair of adorable Versachi boots. I don't want a 54 Covertable thats light blue. I want him. I hope maybe you'll find a space for him on your sleigh that night...so that my truest Christmas wish may be answered.
